The Fiera del Cioccolato Artigianale (Artisan Chocolate Fair) arrives in Florence, Italy. From February 10 to February 19, 2012, in Piazza della Repubblica tourists and residents will be able to taste some of the best master chocolatier productsions and learn the secrets of this food of the gods.
One of the most interesting events within this celebration is the tour “Sapori e Saperi” (taste and knowledge), images and cultural events that allow the visitor to learn more about chocolate.
The objective of this event is to cultivate a “culture of chocolate” and to distinguish between artisinal versus industrial productions of the well loved sweet. The fair is in its 8th edition and sees the participation of ICCO, the International Cocoa Organization.
