The culture councilor of the City of Florence, Giuliano da Empoli, has left his office to go to direct the think tank “Big Bang”, the political association that Mayor Matteo Renzi has created after the convention at the Leopolda with national policy objectives.
Mayor Renzi has announced that he keep directly, at least for a year, the delegation to the culture. “Da Empoli – Renzi said – told me that he would leave office by councilor, because he will guide our think tank. It is a decision with ethical and human dimensions.”
Renzi said that “the year 2012 will be a key year for florentine culture” with the final phase of the search for lost painting by Leonardo Da Vinci’s ” The battle of Anghiari ” and the celebration of “Naming the Future” for the 500 years since the death of Amerigo Vespucci.
