ACF Fiorentina signed Ajax striker Mounir El Hamdaoui on Wednesday for an undisclosed fee, while terminating the contract of midfielder Houssine Kharja. El Hamdaoui, 27, was a regular in the Ajax side under former manager Martin Jol, but he found himself on the sidelines after a dispute with manager Frank de Boer.

Riccardo Migliori, a Florentine member of Italy’s Chamber of Deputies, today became the first Italian elected president of the 56-country OSCE Parliamentary Assembly.
