The American popstar Madonna received a special private tour of an art museum in Italy after having the facility closed to visitors. On monday June 17, Madonna visited the Uffizi gallery, the Corridoio Vasariano and the Boboli garden. The singer was in Tuscany for few days for her “MDNA” world tour and to shot the brand new video.

A new terminal for the Florence airport
The expansion of the airport terminal in Florence goes on. After the “Arrival hall”, opened in December 2011, it’s made operational the new “Departure hall” of 2,600 square meters: the official opening is scheduled for next July 24. Marinò Biagio, CEO of Adf, has underlined the company’s desire to speed: “We wanted to start the operation of the new hall check in advance and we did it”.

Colombian artist Fernando Botero is celebrating his 80th birthday in the renowned sculpture centre of Pietrasanta in Tuscany, Italy, with a new exhibition of statues, including huge cats, horses and large women.
