The site yielded over 20 bronze statues, 10,000 coins, and anatomical votive offerings from Etruscan and Roman times—artifacts of immense historical significance.

The recent discovery of the Bronzi di San Casciano has inspired the community to develop a unique tourism experience that highlights local culture and natural beauty while fostering economic growth.
The mayor also thanked the Tuscany Region, the Valdichiana Wine and Food Route, and local institutions for their role in preparing the village’s candidacy. “This is a team effort,” she added, “and we are committed to continuing on this path of growth and innovation.”
