FLORENCE, ITALY – From May 20, the bike sharing subscription in Florence will cost much less: instead of 24.99 euros will cost only 9 euros for 3 months (3 per month). Every resident and tourist can take advantage of this offer.
Until now the offer was reserved for residents between 16 and 20 years old, the bonus will soon be extended to all users without age and residence limits. This is what the city council decided by approving on May 11 a resolution proposed by the councilor for Mobility Stefano Giorgetti.
“With the arrival of summer and the continuation of the health emergency, we decided to expand the possibility of requesting the discount – the commissioner explains -. A way to encourage safe mobility not only among children but among all people who move in Florence regardless of age and residence. The bicycle represents a valid alternative to public transport. Thanks to Ridemovi, the Florence bike sharing company, for its contribution to the initiative. And I hope that many will take advantage of this opportunity and maybe in the future continue to use the bicycle “.
From May 20, the three months bonus can be requested from the municipality of Florence website or via Ridemovi app.
