Ferragamo unveils a new store in Brisbane

Salvatore Ferragamo in BrisbaneFLORENCE, ITALY  – Salvatore Ferragamo, one of the most recognized luxury brands in the world, announces the opening of its new store at Queen’s Plaza, Brisbane. Covering almost 160 square meters on one beautifully designed floor, the new store offers a complete range of Italian crafted products/accessories and a truly relaxing shopping environment to both the local customers and tourists to Brisbane.

The boutique façade spans over twenty three square meters, looking onto Queen Street, transpo- sing Ferragamo signature style and expressive iconic codes on architectural elements.

The store interior carries an understated and sophisticated look that highlights the products’ fine quality through a modern and harmonious use of space. Contemporary white décor fused with traditional warm, walnut-coloured hues create a calm and welcoming ambiance. Featuring clean lines, engraved glass panels, floating surfaces and airy shapes, the new store encapsulates the Florentine brand’s hallmark characteristics of elegance and luxury.

Design of the new store is meticulously planned, with the shop divided into different sections which respectively showcase varieties of Salvatore Ferragamo products.

To celebrate the opening of the new Queen’s Plaza boutique, the store will be carrying a special edition of the iconic Sofia bag. The Sofia embodies the brand’s true Made in Italy style, a classically timeless bag, which, exclusively for the Brisbane boutique opening, comes in a stunning grey opal colour and features a metal plate engraved with the store name and year of opening. The limited run of 25 bags will be available from August 2012.

The opening of Brisbane boutique takes the number of Salvatore Ferragamo stores in Australia to twelve, providing the brand’s truly luxurious Italian product offerings to all major capital cities nationwide.
