WASHINGTON, DC, USA – National Geographic notes that the research project for the Battle of Anghiari is suspended “until further notice”. It is what we read in a note of the Nat Geo Society that sponsors the research of the hidden fresco by Leonardo Da Vinci.
The research has been conducted by Maurizio Seracini, on the east wall of the Salone dei Cinquecento in Palazzo Vecchio, Florence, Italy. A decision issued by the Mayor Matteo Renzi after the decision came from the National Superintendent for permission to make only one seventh hole (six ones are made in the first phase of the study), outside the areas indicated by Seracini.
While waiting for new developments, the mayor Renzi to communicate that the structure in Palazzo Vecchio must be removed even if National Geographic is still “intends to continue the effective and productive relationship with the city of Florence on further cultural projects of importance both to Florence for Italy”.

Appreciate the recommendation. Will try iit out.
