FLORENCE, ITALY – Invest in Tuscany is the service of Toscana Promozione whose mission is to promote the attraction of foreign direct investments in the Region through marketing and communication activities.
The head office is in Florence, within Toscana Promozione, the regional Agency for economic promotion. Key sectors are life sciences, ICT, nautical, renewable energy and real estate.
Toscana Promozione’s role is coordinating the local network, promoting investment opportunities, contact with investors, provision of assistance and guidance to investors, coordinating on-the-spot assistance and provision of after care service.
Tuscany’s economy is one of the most opened to foreign markets in all over Italy: in this region of 3,6 million people, representing 6.2% of the italian population, export weight for the 7.3% of the Italian total and account to 26 billion Euros, as opposed to 19 billions Euros of imports.
