Bicycle lanes, bike racks, fountains to quench your thirst with one click. The new digital information system (Florence is the first municipality in Italy to adopt it), which also includes a survey of racks, was presented in Palazzo Vecchio.
The census of bicycles involves the identification of those not working, removing spaces for bicycles actually used.
It has been estimated that the bike wreck in Florence are at least 2000. On these bikes will be attached to a collar that says: “More space for those who uses the bike, this wreck will be removed in the next few days”, a message addressed to any owner to warn him that his bike within a week will be removed and scrapped.
If the owner does not remove the bike in the period indicated, the waste disposal company, Quadrifoglio, procede to remove it.
