He later held senior roles in communications for public and private institutions. The American artist Bill Viola yesterday visited the Vasari Corridor inside Florence’s Uffizi Gallery and admired his self-portrait Submerged. In its Uffizi section the Vasari Corridor is used to exhibit the museum’s famous collection of self-portraits.
