George Clooney will be “The Monster of Florence”

FLORENCE, ITALY – George Clooney will be actor and producer of the film “The Monster of Florence”.

In 2104 the actor will play the writer Douglas Preston, who in 2000 moved with his family to Italy and the Italian journalist Mario Spezi, who began a journalistic investigation on the eight dual murders that took place around Florence between 1968 and 1985.

Their curiosity – which resulted in the book “Rolling hills of blood” from which the film is based – did not appreciate by the magistrate of Perugia Giuliano Mignini (who also investigated the murder of Meredith Kercher): Preston was interrogated while Spezi ended even in prison.
