FLORENCE, ITALY – It will be the national premiere “Always” by Song Il-gon to inaugurate the tenth edition of the Florence Korea Film Fest to be held March 23 at the Odeon cinema at 21.30 with the director present. The film was presented at the opening of the 16 th edition of the Pusan International Film Festival, the most important film event in Asia.
The film tells the story of the rough ex-boxer Chul-min, now addicted to a life as a humble worker who meets the mysterious Jung-hwa, lively and enthusiastic even though he is gradually becoming blind. His love of life infects the disillusioned Chul-min to return to his old passion restarting a career as a professional boxer.
Among the titles of the tenth edition of the Festival will present the smash hit, the period drama “War of the arrows” and will host its director Kim Han-min. The festival will be accompanied by several events, including the photo exhibition “Story of a Day” by Song Il-gon, which will be inaugurated on Thursday 22 am to 18 Auditorium al Duomo in Via de ‘Cerretani 54r.
Saturday 24, the Festival will be the appointment in Piazza Strozzi, starting at 16, where he will perform the association of amateur sports Taekwondo center of Florence. Afterwards, at 17 you are invited to participate in the concert A-Kwi, the spectacle of drummers between traditional and modern music.
The tenth edition will give his audience the Korea Film Party, the closing party of the festival, which will be held March 31, from 23.30, at the Hard Rock Cafe in Florence, in Piazza della Repubblica with free admission
