Florence, growing exports in the third quarter 2011

IndustryThe trend of international trade in the province of Florence for the third quarter of 2011 does not seem affected by developments in heavy cyclical deterioration that has affected the dynamics of the global economic right from the summer.

There is persistence uncertainties and tensions in financial markets, together with the deterioration of the fiscal imbalances in the euro, bringing our Country to position itself on the brink of the abyss. But the overall cumulative exchange in the province of Florence over the same quarter the previous year, rising from 8.6 billion euros to 9.4 billion euros, with exports growing a rather intense posting a +11.9%, even if slightly lower than the previous quarter (+13.3%).

The data of business interchange in the province of Florence, Italy, during the third quarter 2011 were communicated by the Chamber of Commerce of Florence. Overall exports in the current cumulative values ​​amounted to around 5.9 billion euros, compared with 3.5 billion reported for the flow of foreign entry, creating a balance of 2.4 billion euros.

The dynamics of foreign imports would seem a little lower than the previous quarter (from +8.8% to +5.2%). Developments related to trade flows with other countries seem quite relevant for Tuscany (exports +12.2%, imports and +911%) and Italy (exports +15.8%, imports +18.2% ).
