FLORENCE, ITALY – The Uffizi gallery will play host to an outdoor cinema during summer 2017. It’s the first time in its history and it will be free for 285 seats available.
Florence mayor Dario Nardella announced the project together with Eike Schmidt, the gallery’s director, on Monday June 19th, 2017.
“It’s the first time that the Piazzale degli Uffizi will host such an event, in a unique combination of art, architecture and film,” commented Nardella.
