Erasmus project to celebrate 30 years in Florence

FLORENCE, ITALY – The celebration for the 30 years of Erasmus will begin in Florence on 7 May and will continue until the 9th with a series of events organized by Indire Erasmus+ National Agency together with INAPP and ANG Agency and in collaboration with the relevant Ministries.

The event will be part of the Festival of Europe, a biennial initiative promoted by the municipality of Florence, Regione Toscana, and the European University Institute

The first Erasmus Concert Orchestra will debut in Florence during the celebration for the 30th anniversary of the Erasmus program and the 60th anniversary of the Treaties of Rome.

Forty Erasmus students from eighteen conservatives nationwide will join talents on the 7th of May at 6 pm, in the Piazza Santissima Annunziata in live streaming. The musical performance will signal the official opening of the occasion.

It will be dedicated to the thirteen students who tragically lost their lives last year in the Freginal bus accident in Catalunia: Mohina Abdusaidova, Chloé Chouraqui, Francesca Bonello, Lucrezia Borghi, Valentina Gallo, Elena Maestrini, Julia Mang, Veronica Matcovici, Serena Saracino, Elisa Scarascia Mugnozza, Phuong Anh Tran, Christina Unger, Elisa Valent.
