FLORENCE, ITALY – The most visited museum in Florence, the Uffizi Gallery, is planning to introduce some personalised museum routes for visitors, director Eike Schmidt said. Similar services are offered by the Louvre in Paris and other musums in Europe and USA.
Schmidt said the new system would be up and running in 2018 or 2019, but some measures may be introduced earlier.
“Details are still to be defined – said Schmidt – but visitors will soon have more choices regarding the way they visit the Gallery. The museum would be also putting its staircases back to use».
