IHC brings new top luxury Hotels in Tuscany

FLORENCE, ITALY – Investors on Thursday December 11, 2014 have announced the launch of a new luxury hotel chain encompassing a top-end hotel in Sardinia and important spa resorts in Tuscany.

Italian Hospitality Collection (IHC) brings together the Chia Laguna Resort on the southern Sardinia coast and the Fonteverde, Bagni di Pisa and Grotta Giusti spa resorts in Tuscany.

“The operation springs from the desire of Castello Sgr, the company managing the fund that owns the properties forming IHC, to invest in the tourism and hotel sector,” a statement said.

The aim of the project “is to create a hotel chain based on luxury and the Italian lifestyle,” said Castelo Sgr CEO Giampiero Schiavo, adding that IHC enters the market with a turnover of 40 million euros, an EBITDA margin of 10% and over 500 employees. “The target for the next three years is a turnover of 60 million euros and an EBITDA margin of 15%,” Schiavo said.
