Serie A, Fiorentina 3-1 Over Chievo

FLORENCE, ITALY – Fiorentina defeated Chievo 3-1 at the Stadio Artemio Franchi in Serie A action on Sunday night. Goals from Juan Cuadrado, Alessandro Matri and a late Mario Gomez strike were too much for the Flying Donkeys to overcome despite Alberto Paloschi’s second half strike that made it 2-1.

Fiorentina remain just in front of Inter Milan whilst Chievo edge ever closer to the relegation zone.

Fiorentina recorded their first victory since mid-February over a Chievo side who periodically threatened, though it was a scrappy encounter all-in-all.
