Casentino Golf Club, on the boarders of the Casentino National Park, one hour by car from Florence, will be implemented. Works are in progress on the hole 3, 4, 9 and 10. They will be ready for seeding at the end of August 2012. Golfers will play these holes next spring 2013. The course to that date will be made by 15 holes.

UNA golf cup 2012 will tee off in Tuscany
UNA Hotels & Resorts presents the 2012 UNA Golf Cup tournament competition that will be played on ten of Italy’s finest golf courses. Now in its third edition, the tournament organized by UNA, will tee off in Tuscany on 15 April at the Golf Club Montecatini in Pistoia. The next round will be played at the Golf Club Bologna, starting on 28 April.

Coach Guidolin awarded the Panchina d’Oro
Italian coach Francesco Guidolin was awarded the Panchina d’Oro on Monday, the prize for the best coach of last season. The ceremony was held in the Palazzo Vecchio, Florence, Italy. At the end of the 2009–10 season, after guiding Parma to a mid-table finish, he resigned in order to become new head coach of Udinese.
