FLORENCE, ITALY – From Saturday 11 to Monday 13 March 2017, at the Stazione Leopolda in Florence, Pitti Immagine presents the 12th edition of Pitti Taste, the fair dedicated to excellence in flavors and lifestyles linked to quality food.
The new edition is growing
Increasingly an unmissable event for international food culture professionals, the result of Pitti Immagine’s collaboration with Gastronaut Davide Paolini, Pitti Taste presents a new edition that is growing in terms of the numbers as well as the exhibition spaces.
Over 380 companies will be showcased at the Stazione Leopolda (+12%, there were 340 in March 2016) – a selection of the best niche and specialist producers from all over Italy. A special section outside the Leopolda is named Fuori di taste.

Some important new features for this edition are the new area in the Piazzale Gae Aulenti, which will host the Taste Shop, and the special theme-project on coffee which aims to arouse the interest of connoisseurs and enthusiasts in a strong trend of the gastronomic culture of the moment.
Every new edition of Taste is a journey surrounded by food, wine, objects and ideas, a discovery tour of the many ways we express and experiment with taste today: between tradition and innovation, trends and lifestyles, professional techniques and equipment, food & kitchen design.
With a special space at the end of the itinerary – the Taste Shop – where it is possible to buy the products on display. For just one week a year, Pitti Taste is Florence and Florence is Pitti Taste.
