Quality and creative food: Taste is coming

Taste 2011 (Pitti Immagine)FLORENCE, ITALY – For 3 days, from March 10 to 12, Florence (Italy) will be the reign of quality and creative food. “Taste 2012” is coming at Stazione Leopolda. The 7th edition of the fair is dedicated to excellence in taste and food lifestyles. Taste is the italian fair dedicated to good eating and good living attended by the top figures in the international gastronomic and catering trade as well as an increasingly growing public of passionate foodies.

With more than 250 companies, this year there will be a lot of things to see… and taste! King of Catering – The second edition of the only international award in catering and banqueting businesses that through their professionalism and quality are gaining a large segment of the food and wine sector in Italy.

Analysis by the Chamber of Commerce reveals that there are over two thousand catering companies, an increase of around 36% in the last 10 years, mainly concentrated in Lazio, Lombardy, Campania and Tuscany. Food bloggers – Leopolda will open its doors to a growing web phenomena, food blogging.

They write about the art of food and they love experimenting new delicious recipes in the name of a genuine conviviality that approaches to the heart, or rather the stomach, of their followers. A dozen food writers will realize, using ingredients from the exhibitors at Taste 7, a few recipes that will be collected in a special section of Pitti Immagine’s website. (ma.ge.)
