“We have moved the fair dates forward by one week,” explains Raffaello Napoleone, CEO of Pitti Immagine, “in order to fit in better with the international calendar of events held over that period and thus make it easier for buyers and journalists from all over the world to move around.”
Work has already started on the new edition and the excellent results recorded last September – 198 brands exhibited (+ 11% with respect to 2010, 140 of which from abroad), a total of nearly 2,200 visitors (+ 12%) and 250 international buyers (+ 11%), led by Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Japan, United Arab Emirates, South Korea, Eastern Europe and Russia – encourage us to do even better next time.
