The very magical Tuscan Christmas begins…

FLORENCE, ITALY – The magical Tuscan Christmas begins with a lot of events.

Weihnachtsmarkt: the traditional German Christmas market held in Florence, Piazza Santa Croce, from December 2, 2015 to December 20, 2015 with Christmas ornaments and foods typical of Northern Europe principally bretzel, strudel and pork legs.

Father Christmas’ House: in Montecatini open from November 6, 2015 to January 6, 2016 at Castello delle Terme Tamerici.

The Christmas Village: in Monteriggioni (Siena) on December 8, 13 and 20, 2015 inside Monteriggioni’s castle along with small markets and entertainers for children.

Mercato del Campo: on December 5–6, 2015 Siena will house a  medieval shopping experience, which recreates the great market once held in Piazza del Campo; the Cortile Del Podestà will host a wine trail.

Father Christmas Haven: in Chianciano Terme, from November 6, 2015 to December 27, 2015 with lights, trees, stars and a mini-train, the Polar Express, will take adults and children for a ride about the streets of the city.

Christmas Village: in Montepulciano, the festivities began on November 21 will finish on January 6, 2016: piazza Grande, piazzetta Danesi and Via San Donato will be invaded by Christmas decorations, street food, shows and Father Christmas’ castle for the children, set up inside the medieval Fortress.
