Covid 19, Florence returns to the orange zone

FLORENCE, ITALY – Tuscany will remain in the orange zone also next week, confirmed by the Italian Minister of Health Roberto Speranza.

The Minister of Health decided that the Metropolitan City of Florence, the province of Prato, the Municipalities of San Miniato, Montopoli in Val d’Arno, Santa Croce sull’Arno, Castelfranco di Sotto, Poggibonsi, San Gimignano, Colle di Val d’Elsa, Casole d’Elsa and Radicondoli will also return to the orange zone from 2 pm on Saturday April 17 as indicated in the last ordinance.

Today in Tuscany there has been a significant reduction in the occupation of Covid hospital beds with 77 non-intensive beds and 8 intensive beds being released.
