Heavy rainfalls expected on Monday in Florence

FLORENCE, ITALY – The weather alert is coming to Florence. Atlantic perturbations brought rain to the Alps and the northern regions. Other perturbations will briefly pass through the north-eastern and central-souther areas of the country, bringing with them sudden storms.

A real change in weather is expected to occur between Sunday night and Monday morning in Tuscany. From the National Civil Protection Centre is arrived the weather warning for all the Tuscany. In particular for Florence, from 6 am to 12 pm on Monday, is expected heavy rainfalls.

The city mobility commissioner, Massimo Mattei, urges people to be careful and to reduce as far as possible the movements: “Who has not emergencies do not put on the roads. We will keep high alert in order to intervene if necessary with the staff of the Civil Protection and the agents of the Municipal Police.”
