FCB monitors the Florence meeting industry

FLORENCE, ITALY – Florence Convention Bureau continues its monitoring activities on meeting industry thanks to the work of Congress Observatory, an organization born out of collaboration between FCB and the Centre for Tourism Studies of Florence to perform market analysis on the Florence territory, by using the online mapping of FCB and the Promotion of Tuscany.

With FCB support, the Congress Observatory has despatched a survey to analyze the activities of over 200 facilities in the first half of 2012 in order to define the trends of events and conferences held this year in the Florence area and compare them with those of previous periods. FCB has required the full cooperation by all the conference venues and will shortly publish the results of the survey.
