Casentino golf club will be implemented

FLORENCE, ITALY – Casentino Golf Club, on the boarders of the Casentino National Park, one hour by car from Florence, will be implemented. Works are in progress on the hole 3, 4, 9 and 10. They will be ready for seeding at the end of August 2012. Golfers will play these holes next spring 2013. The course to that date will be made by 15 holes.

Surrounded by breathtaking views, this Golf Club is located on the boearders of Casentino National Park, where the River Arno rises and mediveal castles and monasteries stand up drawing the landscape.

Founded on 1985 by a group of friends and golf lovers, is up to nowadays the only Golf Club in the Province of Arezzo.

The course is actually on 9 holes, par 36, 2775 meters with driving range, putting green, pitching green, chipping green and bunker.

The restaurant in the Club House with capacity of up to 130 guests, is located in a beautiful stone farmhouse from the 14th century, with a terrace for up to 40 guests. The view extends over the golf course, the valley of Casentino and the Castle of Poppi.
