“This is a very important moment for the political, economic and social life of Kuwait, given the role that the National Assembly plays within Kuwait’s constitutional system,” says a statement, which recalls that 286 candidates representing different political trends will stand at the election, 29 of them women.
The Italian delegation has held a series of talks with officials in the current government and in the outgoing Parliament “and together with the Ministry of Information we agreed for a collaboration project in the sector which will include a strengthening of the online newspaper DAO, which is published by the association, and in the cultural field, with greater awareness raised of Italian poets and authors in Kuwait and Kuwaitis in Italy”.
