Christmas Concert by the Fiesole Music School Choir

The Schola Cantorum Francesco Landini of the Fiesole Music School will present its traditional Christmas Concert on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at 5 p.m. at the Waldensian Church in Florence, located at Via Pier Antonio Micheli 26. Admission is free.

The programme includes works by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, Sergei Rachmaninov, Edward Elgar and Ralph Vaughan Williams, offering a blend of late Romantic and early 20th-century choral music suited to the Advent atmosphere.

The concert will feature sopranos Alessia Durante and Dina Ivanytsia, and mezzo-soprano Vanessa Criscione, accompanied on piano by Ennio Clari and conducted by Paolo Gonnelli.

Organised by the Fiesole Music School Foundation (Scuola di Musica di Fiesole) in collaboration with the Waldensian Church of Florence, the event is part of the school’s public concert season. The performance is supported by the Italian Ministry of Culture and the Fondazione CR Firenze.

The Schola Cantorum Francesco Landini is one of the oldest ensembles linked to the Fiesole Music School, known for its wide repertoire ranging from Renaissance polyphony to contemporary choral works.
