FLORENCE, ITALY – Over 2200 visitors in five days. This is the balance of the first week for the basilica of San Lorenzo which reopened its doors in June organised with the anti-Covid legislation rules.

“Finally we are back to see many people queuing to admire the treasures we hold” – explains Paolo Padoin, President of the Opera Medicea Laurenziana – “Thanks to the commitment of our employees and those of the Parish of San Lorenzo it is possible to visit the Basilica, il Museo del Tesoro, the Natura Collecta Natura Exibita exhibition and Museo della Specola”.

Opening Hours

Monday to Saturday from 10.30 am to 3.15 pm.
The ticket price is 7 euros. The access is directly from the main door of the Basilica, where you can buy the entrance ticket. Other information on the site of the Laurentian Opera.
