FLORENCE, ITALY – British TV star Jeremy Clarkson was shot in Florence for one of the episodes of his new The Grand Tour transmission.

The Grand Tour is an upcoming motoring television series for Amazon Video presented by Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May, and produced by Andy Wilman.

The four had agreed to produce the series following their departures from the BBC series, Top Gear, with an initial agreement of 36 episodes over the period of three years, scheduled to be released on Amazon video on a weekly basis in the latter half of 2016.

Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May became famous for Top Gear (photo via Wikimedia), a British television series about motor vehicles, primarily cars. During its first 22 series, the programme received acclaim for its visual style and presentation as well as criticism for its content and often politically incorrect commentary. Now the famous BBC programme continues with other British TV stars.
