FLORENCE, ITALY – The work “The Battle” by the Iranian artist Bizhan Bassiri is now exhibited at the Salone dei Cinquecento in Palazzo Vecchio, Florence, Italy.
It is a five meters by three painting, partly made with paper mache and colors that fade from white ash with sulfur. The work will be in Florence until April 6 and it can be seen in the Museum of Palazzo Vecchio route. It is included in the ticket price of the Museum.
The inauguration was on Friday 28, 2014, attended by the artist, the Councillor for Culture Sergio Givone, the former director of the Galleria dell’Accademia Franca Falletti and the curators Bruno Cora and Fabio De Chirico.
