Manuel_PasqualFLORENCE, ITALY – First half is over in San Siro, Milan: Fiorentina took the lead: Milan vs Fiorentina 0-2, goals by Aquilani, 10’ and Valero 38’. Alexandre Pato missed a first-half penalty as Milan’s brief revival ended with a 3-1 home defeat by fourth-placed Fiorentina.

On the eve of Fiorentina’s visit to San Siro, Milan chief executive Adriano Galliani revealed: “I like Montella. He makes teams play like the president Silvio Berlusconi wants.”

“It’s perhaps the strongest Fiorentina I’ve played for,” claimed Manuel Pasqual who, with Luca Toni, was also a member of Prandelli’s high flying sides of the mid-to-late 2000s. “It’s definitely the most fun. We won’t lose many games playing this way.”
