Fiorentina and Juventus play a goalless draw

FLORENCE, ITALY – An impressive Fiorentina side managed to shop the Juventus juggernaut tonight in the early game in the round of midweek fixtures. An entertaining game at the Artemio Franchi finished goalless, but the result should please both teams.

Vincenzo Montella’s Fiorentina team justified the praise they have received since the start of the season. They were much the better side in the first half, twice going close and hitting the bar through Stevan Jovetic. (Agi)
