FLORENCE, ITALY – The next summer, the Florentine actor and Oscar winner Roberto Benigni, will read again the Divine Comedy to his fellow citizens in Florence. It is the result reached in a secret meeting between the mayor Matteo Renzi and Lucio Presta, the agent of Tuscan actor and director.

The report was revealed by the weekly Chi. Renzi and Presta met in recent days in Florence. The Mayor asked to have the exclusive presence of Bernigni for 30 dates for the reading of the Divine Comedy. The agreement was reached and Roberto Benigni should return to perform in Florence from July to August.
