New date for the 10th edition of Pitti-Fragranze
The 10th edition of Fragranze, the Pitti Immagine fair-event dedicated to the best in artistic and selective perfumery and the evolution of olfactory culture will be held at the Stazione Leopolda in Florence from Friday 14 to Sunday 16 September 2012 – and not, as previously announced, from 7 – 9 September.

The Italian government in the coming days to formalize the nomination of Marco Ciatti as Superintendent at Opificio delle Pietre Dure. The Opificio is a public institute of the Italian Ministry for Cultural Heritage based in Florence.
The Blizzard is coming, weather alert confirmed
The weather alert issued by Protezione civile last week is confirmed. Snow, ice and wind will hit the city of Florence and Tuscany region from tomorrow, Friday, February 10, until next Tuesday, February 14. The “blizzard” is coming during the night. The Siberian wind never reached Tuscany in the last 11 years.

Italian real estate company based in Prato, Prime Investimenti, announced that it is opening a 31-apartment vacation ownership resort called the “Hilton Grand Vacations Club at Borgo alle Vigne” in Tuscany with Hilton Grand Vacations.
