Florence to host World road championships
Florence will host the 2013 world road championships. The UCI Management Committee announced the awarding of the event to the Italian city last September. “By the end of February, the Italian government will confer the status of Major event to the competition,” yesterday the head of Tuscany’s budget department, Riccardo Nencini, has announced.

The Italian region of Tuscany invites tourists to visit the shipwrck island of Costa Concordia, Isola del Giglio. “We will ensure that the island of Giglio is favoured in our campaigns but the main promotion is for everyone to make a gesture of love by going to Giglio,” said Cristina Scaletti, head of Tuscany’s tourism department.

After Priyanka Chopra and Abhishek Bachchan, actress Sonam Kapoor has scheduled to be hosted to the famous Florentine designer Salvatore Ferragamo’s headquarter. Villa Caruso will officially open to the public

Isabella de’ Medici was not killed, a book reveals
