Andy Holt has been named general manager of GE Energy’s Renewable Energy Services division. Holt, who is a 16-year veteran of the company, will lead GE’s wind and solar services segment. Holt makes the move to the renewables team from his most recent role as general manager for service operations within GE Oil & Gas, based in Florence, Italy.

After more than a decade, the GE Oil & Gas Annual Meeting has become an industry tradition.  This year, the meeting will focus on the collaborative effort that goes into every step forward.  This year will be held in Florence, Italy in January 30-31, 2012.

The 2011 is a year that ends in positive, with orders that are growing and in the next year there are also plans for further growth in the industrial portfolio of GE Oil & Gas.
