Tourists grow in Tuscany, even in bad weather

FLORENCE, ITALY – Hot week in Tuscany from 30 July to 5 August 2018. Maximum temperatures of 40 degrees are foreseen. But the good season this year started late.

For this reason, in June, the number of people at beach establishments was down in Sicily by 40% and Calabria by 35%, while they were up 10% in Campani and 5% in Veneto.

In July the situation is improving, but a rise was seen only in 5 regions: Puglia +15%, Campania and Sicily +10%, Friuli and Tuscany +5%. Ding poorly were still Calabria at -30%, Abruzzo -20%, Lazio -15%, Emilia Romagna -10% and Basilicata, Liguria and Sardegna -5%, while Veneto was at -3%, according to beach establishment figures.

Thus Tuscany is confirmed as a popular destination for tourists from all over the world, even in bad weather.
